SNY’s 3 Stooges Enjoy A Change Of Scenery

Nationals 1, Mets 0 (top of the 9th)

Keith Hernandez described the $5 charge for Shea hot dogs as “highway robbery”. Jeff Wilpon might suggest another choice of words

Mike Pelfrey took a no-hitter into the top of the 7th
until an Aaron Boone liner to right ended the righthander’s bid. The Nats’ Jason Bergman struck out 9 Mets through 7 innings, pretty impressive considering the Rutgers product came into Thursday’s game with an ERA of 11.68.

(UPDATE : Fuck Willie Harris.)

The Dodgers jumped all over Ben Sheets today in Milwaukee. There’s probably a great reason why Ned Yost didn’t pull Sheets before he’d allowed 6 runs in the 6th inning, and I suspect it has something to do with the guys in the pen getting tired of answering calls from robots.

Nice to see form that screenshot that former ECW referee Bill Alfonso still gets some promo time every now and then.
