Man, no sooner does Ben Schwartz lower the boom (by proxy) on Randy Rafael Palmerio, the always illuminating Soft Hands sheds light on Derek Lowe’s zipper problem.
Anchor-reporter Carolyn Hughes (above) has been taken off Dodger coverage at Fox Sports West during an investigation of her relationship with pitcher Derek Lowe, the pay site Ron Fineman’s On the Record reports. Neither Lowe nor Hughes would comment to Fineman, but Lowe’s wife Trinka had plenty to say. She told Fineman that she tipped Fox about her husband having an affair with Hughes and staying overnight at her place in Manhattan Beach. Both Lowe and Hughes insist to her they are just friends, but Trinka says “he wanted me gone when he came back from the next road trip.” The Lowes have sold their Beverly Hills home and Trinka has moved back to Florida. Fineman runs a series of uncredited (and unexplained) photographs he says show Lowe and Hughes together on Wednesday. Hughes hosts the Dodgers pregame show, “Dodgers Dugout.”

I know that this is about Derek Lowe but you’ve got to wonder what “The Lovely Lisa Guerrero” must be thinking right about now when it comes to what they did to her in 2003. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again and again. SHE WAS PUSHED OUT THE DOOR!

I am a fan of the Red Sox and of DLowe, he helped us win the World Series and I am thankful. If this is true, what he did to his wife was wrong, no doubt about that. There had been rumors around New England for a while regarding his wandering eye. That doesn’t change what he did as an athlete for Red Sox Nation, he is a hell of a pitcher, look what he did for us in the playoffs last year. I’ve read what some people have been writing on other sites and on this one and I have only one thing to say: those in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. This mess is something personal that is between him and his wife. Unfortunately his wife decided to go to the media and publicize the scandal. Now everyone feels the need to state the obvious, “DLowe is a bad guy!†Wow you people should be detectives. Oh yeah, and someone posted an insult about his looks, grow up!
Derek is a scum-bag we all knew it. Why do you think the Red Sox did not want him. Did you every see him hanging on the railings of every ball park around the country when he was not pitching? I know first hand thats when he was hung-over. He has got major issues, always had. He has cheated often…not a news flash. As far what he did in the playoffs….that was his last chance at getting a contract from anyone. Also heard Schilling had a little talk with him. As far as the Fox Slut she should lose her job, not professional.
Derek if you read this…….I am so bummed out if this is true…in 2003 as you were on the bus going back to Oakland in the last of the wild card ordeal….I gave you a thumbs up and you gave me a thumbs up back with a smile…..hearing this I just cant believe it…you dont seem to be the type!!!!! This is a sad story and Lowe did his wife a favor by ending it this early. I am sure she will find a more gorgeaus, loving and respectful father/husband and she will have lots of $$$ too! 🙂 And Carolyn white trash, ho better watch out cuz she is not going to be by his side much longer. Congrats Miss Trinka on getting rid of that THING, you are much better without him-he’s got unfixable issues….
