Thanks to Stereogum, here's proof positive that Jim Barber isn't the only member of the Ryan Adams camp who enjoys a spirited debate.

Mr. Adams himself left the following answering machine message for Jim DeRogatis of the Chicago Sun-Times.

Though I'm of the opinion that Adams' recent recordings are pretty embarrassing, the MP3 above is easily the best thing he's done since his solo debut.
