...to paraphrase Jim Carroll from his biggest hit, rivaling The Eagles' "Hotel California", Meat Loaf's "Paradise By The Dashboard Light" and Staci Q's "Two Of Hearts" on the torture meter.



To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Kurt Cobain's death the following are iconic individuals whose cultural achievements, while not as wildly heralded as the former Mr. Love's, are in this author's opinion, artistically superior. You might think it a bit churlish to mark the tragic passing of the Nirvana frontman by badmouthing him. But I come not to bury Cobain (after all, that's already been done) but to praise others at his expense. He can afford it.
