In other parts of the globe, riots occur for a number of reasons. Famine, religious repression, political upheaval, civil unrest, etc. In the Boston area, relatively well-off college students mark the occasion of a local sports franchise winning something or other with typical restraint. And it's all fun and games until someone gets killed.

If Martians were watching this shit, they'd be plotting an invasion.
