Fassel Fired - In Two Weeks



ESPN reports that Giants head coach Jim Fassel is gone at season's end. A press conference within the half hour should confirm.

Now would be a great time for Fassel, not the funniest guy on earth, to guarantee that the Giants will win their next two games and make the playoffs. First reporter to remind Jim that New York have already been eliminated can be physically assaulted by the soon-to-be-jobless coach. If it weren't too late to arrange something, I'd help Fassel find a ringer who could take a punch. Or perhaps, in a hybrid tribute to Joe Horn and Paul Heyman, Fassel could pummel the phony writer with a cell phone.
