Giants Punishing 'Skins, Coughlin Reconsidered![]() After viewing the New York Giants' impressive showing thus far today against the favored Redskins, I'm prepared to eat crow and revise my earlier japes directed at head czar Tom Coughlin. As the Giants' D continues to shove Clinton Portis around, I have taken a vow --- as a personal tribute to Coach Coughlin --- to leave all personal or business meetings 5 minutes before they are scheduled to conclude, or when I have to pee (whichever comes first). But seriously, folks, the best thing about Joe Buck calling NFC games for Fox is that somewhere out there, there's a baseball contest that he's not ruining. The day's big upset in the making : Chicago leading the Pack by 11, at Lambeau with less than 10 minutes to go . Brett Farve was 20-4 lifetime against Da Bears and riding a 7 game winning streak going into this one. If you thought Thomas Jones would have a better game than Ahman Green, I'd like you to hold my wallet for me next sunday. Posted: Sun - September 19, 2004 at 02:38 PM |
