The real news surrounding today's 12-0 defeat of No. 5 Texas by No. 2 Oklaloma isn't the damage said contest will do to the Heisman chances of the former's Cedric Benson or the latter's Jason White. Nor is the big story that the Longhorns' Mack Brown has now lost 5 in a row to Oklahoma, or that the Sooners' freshman RB Adrain Peterson gained 222 yards on 32 carries. No my friends, the scoop is that today's result has left CSTB's (formerly) Loyal Canine Mascot (below) in a deep, dark depression that no amount of puppy-uppers will cure.
