Sheffield's Thumb



The AP says that Garry Sheffield's thumb is jammed and he's out of the lineup for an undetermined period. Could be a few weeks, could be several months.

No truth to the rumor that Sheffield insisted that doctors test his thumb "right away", but objected when Jon Heyman produced a hammer.
