The Real Goat of ALCS Game 5
They're never around when you need one.
For 3 days we've been reading reports
claiming that Boston Police
would be arresting Jeff Nelson and Karim Garcia of the New York Yankees for
their roles in last Saturday's bullpen fight.
Yesterday came and went with no arrests, and Garcia knocked in two runs . What the fuck? Garcia was allowed to patrol right field, a free man, while some poor special ed teacher from New Hampshire has cleat marks all over his head. Where is the Boston P.D.'s sense of urgency? Given the probability that Garcia could've acted again (returning to the scene of the crime and all), why didn't the police have him held? At the very least, they could've stopped him from carrying a dangerous weapon to the plate.
