Juan Gone Gets Lowballed



Rotoworld reported yesterday that free agent OF Juan Gonzalez has signed a one year, $4 million deal with the Kansas City Royals that could increase in value to $6 million based on incentives.

Even if Gonzo only shows up for half the season, he's a bargain at $4 million....a far cry from the 8 year, $143 million extension the Tigers offered him 4 years ago. The market has changed and the Royals are the beneficiaries, this time at least.
