Phillies Sign Worrell



That's Tim Worrell, by the way, not Todd (whom Howard Johnson totally owned). 2 years, $5.5 million, as Worrell and Rheal Cormier will be the bridges to Billy Wagner in 2004. Had the Phillies assembled a relief corps like this last year, you wouldn't have seen Jeffrey Loria running the bases after Game 6.
