Vina signs with Detroit, Santiago inked by Royals



2 time Gold Glove winning 2B Fernando Vina has signed a 2 year deal with $6 million with the Detroit Tigers. Detroit are still in the hunt for the services of former MVP SS Miguel Tejada, and most speculation centers on Detroit or Seattle being Tejada's new club.

As expected, Kansas City has signed catcher Benito Santiago (two years, $4.3 million) and outfielder Matt Stairs ($1 million, one year).
