Janet Leigh, RIP





Though I'm a little disconcerted by a certain Richard Kern-ish quality to the above still, I'm getting off topic. Janet Leigh has passed away at the age of 77. Best known as the victim in one of cinema's most intense murder scenes (from "Psycho" above), Leigh also had to live with many vile rumors about whether or not her daughter, Jamie Lee Curtis, is in fact, a man. Not to mention the equally scurrilous rumors that former husband, Tony Curtis, was also a man.
