Dirty Den - Not Ready For His Close Up

"EastEnders" star, Lesle Grantham, aka Dirty Den Watts, is accused of engaging in webcam you-know-what, along with trashing his co-stars whilst engaged in salacious chat (though as even Mrs. CSTB points out, calling Jessie Wallace "a vile dog" is a strange type of foreplay).

Leslie Grantham called an EastEnders cast meeting yesterday — to DENY slagging off his co-stars.

The tearful actor even tried to worm his way into their good books with cringing tributes.

But regulars on the hit soap later demanded he is FIRED for internet sex sessions which also exposed his views of fellow cast members.

And they threatened to walkout unless bosses take action.

Among those wanting his head are the four stars he attacked — Jessie Wallace and Shane Richie, plus Wendy Richard and Kim Medcalf.

A show insider said: “There is uproar on set. If Grantham gets away with this there will be a revolt. The cast told producers it cannot be one rule for him and another for them.

“He has to be disciplined or this could lead to the cast walking out.

Wednesday 's Sun has more sordid details :

EASTENDER Leslie Grantham pleasured himself in front of a webcam while dressed as panto villain Captain Hook, a mum claimed yesterday.

She alleged the married TV star also described his sexual fantasies about animals.

Grantham, 57, exposed at the weekend for stripping naked during web chats with another woman, issued a grovelling apology yesterday.

But our new revelations, from TWO women, spark fresh doubts over his TV future.

The first mum told last night how she watched EastEnders star Leslie Grantham “playing with himself” while dressed as Captain Hook and wearing a long curly wig.

She said the Dirty Den actor put on a filthy show for her on an internet webcam after appearing in a Peter Pan panto.

He “got his willy out” moments after the final curtain and pleasured himself while still in costume.

The 31-year-old mum-of-three, who asked to be known only as Emily, was one of two more women who came forward last night to tell how Grantham acted out his depraved fantasies to them on webcams.

Emily said the married dad of three also:

THRUST his manhood towards the camera lens he attached to his laptop computer; HAD sex fantasies about animals; ASKED her to send him a worn pair of knickers; SWAMPED her with X-rated emails, and RUBBISHED the rest of the EastEnders cast as “brown-nosers” and “back-stabbers”.

No mention in any of the papers yet, by the way, that the Sun's motives for dishing the dirt on Den might have less to do with keeping the internet free of jailbird jerkoffs and more to do with agendas in soap-land. Sun editor Rebekah Wade is married to former "EastEnders" star Ross Kemp, aka Grant Mitchell. As Den and other hideous members of the Watts clan continue to be the focus of "EastEnders" storylines, how better to grease the wheels for Kemp's inevitable return to the fold than by torpedoing the career of a likely onscreen rival?

There's also the small matter of a Murdoch owned paper shelling out for unflattering stories concerning the BBC's top entertainment franchise, but I favor conspiracy theory no. 1. If Grantham would like to discuss this with me while preparing his defense, I'd be happy to share my insights....as soon as I get my webcam fixed.
