Suge Aids Army Brats



Putting the THROP back into philanthropy, Tha Row's Suge Knight is planning a benefit album to benefit financially strapped familes of servicemen & women in Iraq, once he's released from the big house. From Reuters :

In a statement, the founder of Death Row Records said he will work with various artists and record labels to pull together a hip-hop album benefiting the families who are confronting mounting financial burdens.

"I'm not taking any kind of political stance on the war," said Knight, adding he hopes to have the record on store shelves by Christmas.

Knight said all earnings of the new compilation will go directly to the families and urged fans not to illegally download, since such activity would essentially be stealing from the families that would benefit from the proceeds.

So there you have it. Millions of people were planning on swiping a new Danny Boy track, but now they're scared to death. Have the RIAA ever thought of putting Suge in charge?
