Marlon Brando, RIP



Marlon Brando, the 80 year old star of such films as "A Street Car Named Desire", "On The Waterfront", "The Wild One" "The Godfather", "Apocalypse Now", "Last Tango In Paris" and most importantly, the 1996 remake of "The Island Of Dr Moreau (co-starring Val Kilmer, David "Goodbye, Career" Thewlis and Fairuza Balk), has died in Los Angeles.

Brando has been the subject of cheap laughs for decades, and even today, XFM's insipid Richard Bacon saw fit to mock the hefty thespian. While the last 25 years of Brando's career could rightly be described as a massive waste of talent, at least he had talent to waste --- a charge that won't soon be leveled at a mental midget like Bacon.
