Tony Randall In Neat Freak Heaven



Tony Randall, a small-screen icon for his role as Felix Unger in "The Odd Couple", has passed away at the age of 84.

This is a particularly sad event for your author, as I grew looking at Randall's Unger character --- a not-too fastidious, beer-swilling, bachelor sportswriter --- as a role model of sorts. Wait a second, never mind, that was the other guy.




Randall's TV and film career was filled with landmark performances, none more so than his cameo in 1980's "The Gong Show Movie" and his role as Judge Walter Franklin in the underrated "Tony Randall Show".
