Congratulations to 73 year old Lee Elia, hired yesterday by the Atlanta Braves as a special assistant to GM Frank Wren. During a prior tenure as manager of the Chicago Cubs, Elia proved a tad sensitive to fan criticism ; presumably, a city that struggles to sell out playoff games will be more to his liking.
