…as the San Francisco Chronicle contributor is the One Millionth Columnist in the past two weeks to have used the headline “Throw The Book At…” or “Throwing The Book At” in relation to the Sultan Of Surly.

Speaking of headlines we’ve seen before, how about this one from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch’s Derrick Gold : “Looper Struggles To Find Location”. Sounds to me like he’s in Tampa, though Sucksville would’ve been a correct answer, too.

The LA Times’ Tony Jackson reports the Dodgers will begin using a new batting helmet from Rawlings with a radical new design.

I have to say, though I didn’t like it at first, it’s really growing on me.
