So it seems last’s Adirondack vs. Portland pier six didn’t take place on a pier. Heck, it didn’t even take place in Portland, ME. It did, however, occur in the same building as this somewhat more historical bout.

    There’s nothing like a nice goalie fight to remind me why hockey is my favorite sport. Such an event is quite rare in the NHL, but one of my most cherished hockey memories is witnessing this brawl in person. I turned to my companion and said “you may never see this as long as you live so pay attention.” The Meadowlands ice was stained crimson with Swedish blood that day. http://youtu.be/Z2PpPwz9rNI
