did the WB reject my pitch? Well, let's see....

do you remember seeing a sitcom called "I'm In Charge" starring Alexander Haig as a former Sec. Of State turned lower east side bodega owner? Or a family drama called "It's The Pits" with Dandy Don Meredith as a divorced father of two kids trying to start a pit bull farm?

Me neither.

burn, hollywood, burn

As my wife would tell me, Don, don't pretend to be offended when you're secretly flattered.

Did the WB reject your pitch?

re : The Loaf. Supposedly, a more accomplished fantasy sports owner than any of this blog's participants (http://www.cantstopthebleeding.com/?p=2693).

"Spice World" got a lot of bad reviews, but any film that puts Meatloaf, Richard E. Grant and Mark McKinney on the same screen can't be all bad. As long as you don't watch it.

re : parking spaces. This is my Don Smith moment. After dining at the Warner Bros. commisary several years ago (hot tip : stay away from the lasagne), I noticed that Robert Urich's personal space had been moved to the dumpsters all the way in the back of the building. Some thanks for practically building the studio with all of wonderful shows and made-for-tv movies.

When I was at Village Recorders in December, I witnessed the big man's parking space name change from "Mr. Loaf" to "Meat Loaf." Despite my repeated requests and a wealth of more appropriate choices, "Mr. Rundgren" remained unmolested.
